Ironsides is an independent film made in 2009 by writer/director Joel Greenberg, an Emerson College graduate.

He shot scenes in Salem on Boston Street and in Peabody. The scene in Salem was shot at Roasted Pepper Pizza on Boston Street and in Peabody, a schene was shot on a suburban side street.

The website describes the film as "a powerful, heartwarming drama about friendship and overcoming a legacy of violence and about peace being stronger than war.
