Jeanne Stella, who lives in Salem, is a historian who has compiled cemetery inscriptions for four cemeteries in Peabody and two in Salem,
the Howard Street cemetery and the Charter Street cemetery. Her other notable work is the plant listings and photographs of the flora and fauna of
Salem Woods. She also contributes to the Salem News with a monthly letter to the editor about the history of one of Salem's streets.
The Charter Street cemetery inscriptions are being published by the Essex Genealogist.
