Salem seniors have a new online resource.
The city of Salem has created a new website to serve elders in Salem. The links on the site will provide resources for transportation,
volunteer opportunities, activities, healthy living and home maintenance.
In 2016, Salem became one of the first communities in Massachusetts to have an Age-Friendly Action Plan certified by the AARP.
With the new opening of the Community Life Center, it will offer Salem seniors a wealth of information.
The Council on Aging (founded in 1967) provides a variety of services for seniors at the Jean. A. Levesque Community Life Center at 401 Bridge Street.
