Juden had a stellar high school career, where he wore the #14 on his jersey. He gives credit to Coach (Al) Giardi at Salem High for his success in baseball.

Juden went on to have a nine year career in the big leagues. He was drafted 12th overall by the Houston Astros in 1989. Before leaving the bigs in 1999, he also spent time with the Phillies, Giants, Expos, Indians, Brewers, Angels and Yankees, compiling a 27-32 career mark.
