George J. Heussler,(1751-1817) born in Landau Alsace, and immigrated to Salem.
Heussler worked as a landscape gardener, in Newburyport and Salem. Possibly one of the first professional plants-man in Salem.
married first Abigail Young (1753-1799)
married second: Elizabeth 'Jenny' Lunt, the widow of a Mr. Stephens and the mother of Abigail Heussler date unknown.
father of:several including Abigail Heussler Smith 1803.
