Peter Barter ran his shop at Pickering Wharf, on Derby Street for 34 years before retiring in 2013.
It was a popular shop for flowers of all kinds, wreaths and other decorative items. He had colonial inspired
items like brass candlesticks. The shop was artistically arranged.
Barter opened his shop at Pickering Wharf in 1979, one of the first shops in the new area.
Barter passed away in 2015 at the age of
