*"Ding dong, the witch is saved: popular neon sign from old Highland Avenue business gifted to Notch" ''Salem News'', Jan. 18,2021 |
Revision as of 10:02, 24 March 2021
Started by John Athanasopoulos as Olde Salem Brewery in 1995 at 278 Derby Street across from his other business, Brother's Deli.
He sold the business to Joe and Steve Slesar of Boston Beer Works in 1996. They already owned a restaurant in Boston near Fenway Park.
It was renamed after the sale, to Salem Beer Works.
