Caffe Graziani, an Italian restaurant, opened in downtown Salem in 1992. It was run and owned by Giovanni and Paula Graziani.
More than a local, family-friendly eating place, the owners
have been involved with the Salem community, such as hosting wine tastings and historically inspired feasts. They have also coordinated trips to Chef Giovanni's hometown
in Italy for cooking demonstrations and classes.
Sadly, the restaurant closed its doors in April of 2017, after 26 years in business.
Giovanni passed away in May 1, 2020 from complications due to COVID-19.
