Brunson, Rick
Rick Brunson (b Eric D. Brunson), a retired professional basketball guard and star at Salem High School, was born in Syracuse, N.Y. on June 14, 1972.
He moved to Salem and lived in the Collins Cove section of town when he played at Salem High.
He is currently an assistant coach for the Charlotte Bobcats.
Brunson credits coach Jack O'Brien at Salem High School and John Chaney at Temple as inspiration for his rise in pro basketball.
