- St. Joseph Grammar and High School. Both schools were taught by the Sisters of Notre Dame. The grammar school closed in 1972, a few years after the high school had closed.

Though home to many Catholic Schools in the past, currently the last surviving Catholic school in Salem is St. Joseph's School.
