Robert Booth (1951-) Educated at Harvard and Boston University, Booth worked summers as a lobsterman and sailing instructor, according to "Legendary Locals". He has worked in publishing and as a reporter, also establishing himself as an architectural-historical consultant. In 2011, he published Death of an Empire, which pictures Salem at the end of its glory days in the shipping industry, centering on the murder of Capt. White.
