Gagnon's Shoe Repair on New Derby Street has been in business since the end of World War II.

It was founded by Peter Gagnon.

Many generations of the family have kept it running, known for their stellar work on many styles of shoes. Pete's son Rich

took a course in orthopedics which helped him learn techniques for molding shoes for people with foot deformities and problems related

to diabetes.

Gagnon's moved their shop from Derby Street Salem to Beverly in 2021.
