Higginson Book Company, started by Robert Murphy, is a reprinter of American genealogies and local and county histories.

Mr. Murphy started as an antiquarian book dealer and then moved his business to Salem in 1975.

Higginson Books is located in a historical house , the Joshua Ward House.
