Ida Upton Paine, ( Jan. 15, 1936) was a well-known artist, specifically china painting, born and raised in Salem. The daughter of Henry O. Upton and Elizabeth (Cate) Upton.

One of Ida's first business ideas was offering souvenir witches painted on beach pebbles.
