The Record Exchange is a long-time vinyl and audio cd store in downtown Salem. Their current address is 256 Washington Street, though they began a few blocks away at 116 Lafayette Street, 43 years ago.

The owner and founder of the shop was Ross "Skip" Kolhonen, who passed away Dec. 1, 2017. All the people who knew "Skip" will remember his loyalty and kindness.

Some of his passions were golf, travel and running.
