The Record Exchange is a long-time vinyl and audio cd store in downtown Salem. Their current address is 256 Washington Street, though they began a few blocks away on Lafayette Street, 43 years ago.

The 43-year owner and founder of the shop was Ross "Skip" Kolhonen, who passed away Dec. 1, 2017. All the people who knew "Skip" will remember his loyalty and kindness.

He also loved the game of golf, travel and running.
