The Salem Wax Museum of Witches and Seafarers is located at 288 Derby St. It is an open gallery style wax museum, featuring 50 wax figures. the scenes in the galleries depict pinnacle figures and situations in Salem's history from its founding to the Witch Hysteria of 1692, into the Mercantile trade of the 18th century. The galleries lead to a more interactive part of the museum, featuring the opportunity to learn nautical knot tying and grave stone rubbing.
