The movie is based on a novel by Marjorie Kellogg, who also wrote the screenplay. It is about a California nurse. They filmed at the Salem Hospital a week and then filmed in the area for eight weeks. The movie featured a "scandalous" nude scene in the Braintree cemetery. It was released in movie theaters in 1970.
