A bronze inscription plaque attached to a granite steel that features an incised image of an eagle with its wings spread.

Located at the intersection os Jefferson and Lawrence Street.

The memorial honors those from Salem who died in World War I.

On bronze plaque reads:

1917 ROLL OF HONOR 1919

On granite: WORLD WAR I

DONATED BY THE CITY OF SALEM/ REDEDICATED BY MAYOR ANTHONY V. SALVO
