Brunonia Barry (1950-) "Born in Salem, Barry studied at Green Mountain College in Vermont, the University of New Hampshire and Trinity College in Dublin", according to Legendary Locals of Salem.
Barry has had many different writing experiences, from writing scripts in California to collaborating on the teenage fiction series Beacon Street Girls as well as spending time in Chicago.
Returning to Salem in 1995 with her husband Gary, she published her first novel, in 2009, the Lace Reader, set in Salem, as well as her second book, The Map of True Places also set in Salem.
She published a third book in 2017, called The Fifth Petal.
