  • The film, The Coming was made in 1979, produced and directed by Bert I. Gordon of Magic Circle Film Co. Scenes filmed in Salem; Chestnut St., Witch Museum, Charter St. Cemetery and Custom House. Laurie Cabot was technical advisor. A tale of reincarnation and the supernatural paralleling the 1692 Salem Witch Trials. Perhaps loosely based on and inspired by the 1970 film Crowhaven Farm starring Hope Lange and Paul Burke. The Coming was released on VHS twice, first as The Coming and then re-titled Burned at the Stake.
  • Starring Susan Swift, Albert Salmi, Tisha Sterling (Ann Sothern's daughter) and Guy Stockwell.
  • Synopsis: At the height of the Salem witch-hunts, a five-year-old girl is branded a witch. Her father has already lost his life- but his will to save his daughter from the flames carries him 300 years into the future, where he must find the reincarnation of her accuser and prevent his daughter's death.
