Duck Tours

Moby Duck Tours operated for about four years in Salem, from about 1998 to 2001. Moby Duck has been using a state ramp at Winter Island. They stopped operating in 2001 when the Public Access Board last fall banned all commercial amphibious vehicles from using state ramps and would grant no exceptions. No alternative site was found, so the Duck Tours had to stop operating. Moby Duck tours use converted military amphibious vehicles in their tour boats.
