Salem Access Television

From Salem Links and Lore

Salem Access Television is a non-profit community media center located on 285 Derby Street.

Since 1994 SATV has been offering training, equipment and support in the art of television production to seniors, teens, individuals, groups and non-profit organizations. The goal is to train the people of Salem to use the facility to develop their own TV programming.

The shows are seen on one of our three channels, Channel 3 for public access, Channel 15 for educational access and Channel 16 for governmental programming. Any individual, group, non-profit organization or business within Salem is eligible to become a member of SATV. Some of the current programing includes Salem City Council and School Committee meetings, "Salem Now" and "Inside Salem", "Debra Crosby's Talent Quest" and "Jesus te Salva".
